FAQ

1. In what languages do you offer your services?

English and Lithuanian

2. What are your costs?

£50 for a 1-hour session. I offer concessions for students and people living on a lower income.

The initial online consultation is free of charge.

3. How often will we have sessions?

Usually, once a week. How long therapy will last will depend on personal circumstances and aims. This will be discussed in the first meeting.

4. How do I prepare for the first session?

The initial consultation will be offered online. Please make sure you have reliable wifi and a quiet, undisturbed space. A thorough assessment is done before starting therapy sessions to ensure that working outdoors/online would suit the person’s needs. Feel free to prepare some art materials you may already have at home.

5. What happens if I don’t know what to talk about?

This is a very common concern for someone approaching therapy. I’m trained to support people through feelings of discomfort, and will be able to offer a range of options if you feel stuck. Besides, art therapy can feel more accessible, as when words become difficult, we can express feelings and situations through art-making.

6. Do I have to make art in every session?

Not necessarily! There may be times when you feel too tired, not able to create, or there is a lot to talk about; that’s okay.

I offer online sessions, outdoor art therapy sessions in Glasgow, and creative/educational workshops.

Online Sessions

Online sessions allow flexibility to access art therapy space from the comfort of your home.

You will need a quiet and undisturbed space.

Outdoor Art Therapy

Art therapy sessions are held outdoors, in a quiet location. Artworks are made using natural materials and found objects, noticing the cycles of nature and exploring one’s connection with it.
